Your Donations Needed to Help Refugee School
Children
ERS is accepting donation of school supplies
as well as backpacks for the newly arriving refugee children.
We always accept cash donations from those people who are unable or
don't have time to purchase these school supplies and other needed items
- volunteers will do it for you. This can be a tax write off for anyone
requesting a tax
form. Contact Genevieve Cruz
at 303-860-0128 x12 if you need your donation items to be picked
up and delivered to the children.
Volunteers
Needed
Ecumenical
Refugee and Immigration Services is looking for Volunteers
to help with various tasks but mostly with a once a month Food Bank
distribution. The distribution is held on the third or fourth Thursday
of the month depending on how it falls. This project is designed to aid
our Refugees who have not yet received food stamps, due to a 45-day
waiting period. I encourage all
interested parties to get involved. This can be a group of
people or just an individual with free time on their hands. Take note,
this job involves some lifting, boxes of food but mostly canned goods
etc.
The
hours will be from 1:30 TO 4:30 P.M. Please contact Genevieve Cruz at
303-860-0128x12
